Albemarle Area Committee of 100 focuses on the Private Industry's Support of Economic Development in Elizabeth City and Pasquotank County. The Committee of 100 spearheaded the AEDC's 2005 Capital Camaign that raised $35,000 for marketing the community to prospective employers and this year contributed $10,000 to help launch the Downtown Waterfront Market.
Community Image Committee focuses on instilling a sense of pride in the Elizabeth City area while enhancing educational, health care, business, and governmental relationships by enriching and reinforcing the area’s historical legacy, neighborhoods, downtown, waterfront, and vision for the future.
