Committees
Albemarle Area Committee of 100 focuses on the Private Industry's Support of Economic Development in Elizabeth City and Pasquotank County. The Committee of 100 spearheaded the AEDC's 2005 Capital Camaign that raised $35,000 for marketing the community to prospective employers. In 2008 the Committeee of 100 contributed $10,000 to help launch the Downtown Waterfront Market and in 2009 contributed $1,500 toward the purchase of additional festival tents.
