Directions
From the South
- Approaching Elizabeth City from the South on US 17, bear left on Bypass 17 (Sign: Bypass 17; Chesapeake, VA).
- Travel approximately 3 miles and turn right on Exit 258, Halstead Blvd. Extended.
- Continue approximately 3 miles to the traffic lights at the intersection of Hughes and Halstead Blvds.
- Turn left onto Hughes Blvd. and proceed approximately 1.2 miles to Main Street. On the left will be an historic train station, now West End Station Restaurant, and on the right will be a used auto dealership.
- Turn right on Main Street, which will be the residential section of Main Street.
- Continue on Main Street for 2.1 miles. The AEDC office is located in the Owens & Robertson Building on the right at 405 East Main Street.
From the North
- Traveling from Virginia on US 17 South, take the “Elizabeth City” exit and continue on US 17 Business for approximately 7 miles.
- Make a slight left turn on US 17/North Road Street.
- Travel 0.8 miles and turn left on Main Street. Continue on Main Street for 0.1 miles. The AEDC office is located on the right in the Owens & Robertson building at 405 East Main Street.
